The hostel is so central that you'll be in the hub of the city with everything at your fingertips. You'll have lots of free time to explore alongside your week long experience where you’ll be teaming up with 15-30 solo travellers just like yourself - instant friends!

BONUS: All this preparation will also earn you 12 month’s membership with the job assistance team in Sydney should you decide to take more jobs in the city during your working holiday visa.

THE HORSEMANSHIP CLINICS

Saddle up, you're off to outback Queensland! A couple of hours inland from Brisbane, you'll be located at our beautiful equine and cattle stud owned by your hosts and trainers. Here you'll get stuck into intense horse work and fun with a bespoke group of 3-6 others for maximum practical learning and dedicated guidance. This is a very special week and a completely unique course of Australian horse activities and learning, aimed to fully prepare you for your job ahead. 'Australianise' your existing equine skills and learn new ones from our expert team.

PRE-DEPARTURE

HORSEMANSHIP COURSE

A full range of horse-related teaching and activities in bespoke sized groups which could include:

  • Breaking in young horses demonstrations.

  • Professional groom skills and maintenance - the Australian way.

  • Natural horsemanship skills.

  • Basic vet skills and medication administering.

ONWARD TO YOUR JOB AND BEYOND

  • Your onward travel plans will be mapped out courtesy of the Employ Equine team. We will talk you through your journey step by step.

  • A certificate of completion.

  • A written reference for future employers.

  • Full support from the team for up to 12 months of your stay in Australia.

  • A guaranteed paid job offer in the equine industry (a minimum of 3 months, maximum of 12) either with accommodation included or a higher wage where it is not offered.

  • 12 month’s membership with optional job assistance in Sydney.

  • Help with organising further travel and discounts on selected travel options.

  • Access to an emergency contact number.
